Registration Details Full payment of both tuition and supply fees to Minnesota Center for Book Arts (MCBA) secures your reservation. MCBA does not send confirmations.You will be notified if a class is cancelled. MCBA reserves the right to cancel classes one week prior to start date due to low enrollment. Refund Policy Cancellations or transfers are possible eight days or more prior to the beginning of a class to receive a full refund minus a $15 processing charge. Cancellations or transfers within a week prior to the class (excluding the day of class) will receive a 50% refund minus a $15 processing charge. No refunds or transfers are possible on or after the first day of class or for no-shows. In the event that MCBA cancels a class, students will receive a full refund. Check refunds generally take 4-6 weeks. Discounts MCBA and AIGA members receive a 10% tuition discount. There are no discounts on supply fees. Type Deposits Students using type: please include a separate $100 deposit (in the form of a check) to be refunded after type has been redistributed. Classes requiring type deposits are noted under fee amounts. Special Needs If you have special needs that may impact your participation, please use the bottom of the registration form to describe your needs. Staff will contact you prior to the workshop to discuss accommodations. We may not be able to ensure appropriate accommodations without prior notification. Lunch Breaks Most classes scheduled during a typical lunch break allow for a one hour recess. MCBA has a small refrigerator for storage of a bag lunch and there are many restaurants within walking distance. A café, Coffee Gallery, is located on the ground floor of Open Book.
