Many bindery tools are specialized, which often makes them hard to find and expensive. In this in-person workshop, learn how to make several common bindery tools including a laying press, wood and plexi press boards, bone folders, punching cradles, and box corner jigs.
Depending on time and interest, we may also make a corner trimming jig, bent needles, and/or soft weights (also known as ‘snake weights’). There will be plenty of time for questions and you’ll leave with ready-to-use tools and the know-how to make more!
Level: Beginner. All skill levels are welcome.
Certificate: 6 hours, Category B or D
