Artist Consignment

Consign with us!

Are you a book artist interested in selling work through The Shop at MCBA? This is a great opportunity for both established and emerging artists to display and sell their work! We accept handmade zines, journals, artist’s books, prints, paper, greeting cards, art materials, and gifts from artists across the US and beyond. Consignment terms are 60/40 (artists retaining 60% of sales). MCBA reserves the right to accept or decline work for any reason.

We invite prospective consignment artists to apply below. Applications are processed on Saturdays, and we aim to review them within two weeks. If you have questions, please contact us at consignment@mnbookarts.org. The application will remain open through April 31, 2025.

Here's what some of our current consignment artists have to say about our Shop:

I am proud to have my work in the MCBA store. I love receiving regular inventory reports, fulfilling restock requests, and I appreciate never having to chase down payments. The team is extremely helpful and friendly.
— Thu Tran of Spaghetti Inc.

Working with [the MCBA] consignment program has introduced me and my work to a wider audience. It is easy, and [they] are communicative and reliable. I generally avoid consignment and have had difficult experiences in the past, but I love working with MCBA.
— Hope Amico

For many years, MCBA’s marvelous shop has been the perfect place for my tiny books and zines to connect with the wider public. The staff at MCBA is super nice and easy to work with and it’s always a joyous boost to learn that my little books and zines have found new homes.
— Regula Russelle

I’m honored to have my work in such an amazing space that supports BIPOC artists, locally and from all over.
