The North American Hand Papermakers are excited to announce a two-hour window for the public to shop the Vendor Fair when the national organization is at Minnesota Center for Book Arts in Minneapolis for their annual conference. The Vendor Fair will be held in Open Book's Room 203 (on the second floor, reachable by elevator or stairs), and is open to the public on Saturday, September 13, 12:00–2:00pm.
At the fair, find an interesting assortment of items related to the art and craft of hand papermaking. Products for sale include chapbooks, zines, portfolios, broadsides, notebooks, collages, vessels, artwork, handmade books, commercial books about papermaking, handmade papers, Hollander beaters, dryer materials, fibers, and beadwork. Vendors include e. ainsley, Hannah Bennett, Serena Caffrey, Amanda Degener (HMP Editions), Aris Demopoulos, Nicole Donnelly (Morgan Conservatory), Aimee Lee, Laura Rowley (Illuminated Press), Erica Spitzer Rasmussen (Hot Tomato Press), and Mina Takahashi (Hand Papermaking Inc).
