Crossing the Line: The Passport Re-Imagined
Crossing the Line: The Passport Re-Imagined is a traveling exhibition that features a collection of works that draw inspiration from passports and other travel documents. The series of artists’ books reflects on themes of immigration, power, limitation, and belonging through creative depictions of what the passport reimagined looks like to each artist. These artists were commissioned by the Cynthia Sears Artists’ Books Collection and are on tour from the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art. What does a passport mean to you? Come visit our gallery to explore the work through a variation of perspectives and reflections.
