Kerri (Mulcare) Sandve is an interdisciplinary artist and writer from Minneapolis, Minnesota working under the imprint Carbon Copy Co. Press. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Print, Paper, Book Arts from Minneapolis College of Art and Design. She was a recent recipient of the MCAD Collegiate Fellowship in partnership with Minnesota Center for Book Arts, the Caxton Club Scholarship through the Rare Book School, and The Friends of the Saint Paul Public Library Minnesota Book Artist Award for the collective efforts on the artist’s book My Mighty Journey: A Waterfall’s Story. Her artist’s books reside in multiple collections across the Midwest. Her studio techniques combine papermaking, printmaking, book arts, and collage. Themes in the work revolve around nature, memory, archive, place, the body, and time. She loves working with natural materials and found objects/images in her process, creating textures, colors, and patterns that mimic or allude to the natural world or the body.
