Scott Blake (he/him) is a visual artist who makes barcode portraits and flipbooks, as well as many other creations. While he is best known for Barcode Art, he creates work that is scandalous, witty, and fun. His work has been showcased at the NYC Book Fair and featured at The Smithsonian American Art Museum. He has been invited around the world with his art: from London for a Conference on Terrorism after his 9/11 Media Study; to a residency in Vienna, Austria; to the shelves of Pascal Fouche in Paris, France, the proud owner of the largest collection of flipbooks in the world. He was born in Tampa, Florida, but now lives in Saint Paul, Minnesota with his wife and two dogs.
