This long-term collaboration is in the spirit of carpe diem – seize the day – for wood engravers. This block will live at Hamilton Wood Type as part of their working collection of blocks and type. The working collection of blocks and type are used by residency artists to create unique posters and other letterpress art. Once these prints are gone, they are really gone!

Joanne Price is the founder and artist of Starpointe Studio, specializing in wood engraving and book arts, and collaborating with letterpress folks like Larkspur Press, including book illustrations for authors, such as Wendell Berry, Barbara Kingsolver, Frank X Walker and more.
