The Museum of the Inexplicable by Vyolet Jin & Doris Liu

$25.00

“Originated from Vyolet’s whimsical associations, the trivia of everyday life take on inexplicable identities and stories. The grill has different expressions because of the ways the meat slices are placed on it; the ketchup squeezed on the hash browns looks like calligraphic work; and the colorful newspaper boxes stand side by side as if they are passing gossip to each other. These bright ideas are compiled into a unique list of exhibits in the form of a catalog of the fictional ‘Museum of the Inexplicable’, with the original photographs that inspired them as an appendix.

Each zine comes with a sticker sheets of the ‘exhibits’ and packaged with a custom header of the museum.

*The body text and information about people, objects, places, and times in the zine are generated by ChatGPT with specific prompts and then manually adjusted and polished.” - Vyolet Jin & Doris Liu

8.5” x 5.5”

*Consignment item. Not eligible for 10% membership discount. All consignment purchases are final and non-refundable once shipped.
