Iris Grimm (b. 1983, Connecticut) (she/her) is an artist, photographer and bookbinder based in Boston, MA. Her work explores themes of change, the passage of time, truth and perception through photo based works and artist’s books. She aims to make a diverse body of work, distinguished by observation of her surroundings and an ongoing investigation of the photographic medium’s foundations. Work that interweaves the mundane and the fantastical; where there is a physicality to the work and the body is very present in it.
