Asbestos, Duct Tape, Willow Bark Zine by Joe Hall, Ryan Kaveh Sheldon, and DoubleCross Press

$10.00

“This book is an essay by the poet Joe Hall (with an interview between Hall and his collaborator, Ryan Kaveh Sheldon) about his participation in a poets' conceptual publishing project, Hostile Books. The essay is part of a series called The Poetics of the Handmade, which publishes essays by poets involved in hand-bookmaking; in this series, poets discuss both the motivations and conceptual frameworks for their publishing work and the specifics of materials and process. It was published in the spring of 2025 in tandem with Ryan Kaveh Sheldon's Lemon, which is a (for the first time, fully legible) reprint of a book that Hostile Books printed in 2015 in "invisible ink" (lemon juice).” -MC Hyland of DoubleCross Press
