Amos Paul Kennedy, Jr. (he/him) is an award-winning printmaker, book artist, and papermaker based in Detroit. He is best known for social and political commentary, particularly in printed posters. One critic noted that Kennedy was “...unafraid of asking uncomfortable questions about race and artistic pretension.” In 2017, Minnesota Center for Book Arts had the honor of hosting Kennedy as printer-in-residence.
