"Christopher Selleck used a selection of his photographic images to create this artist book. His current, ongoing series investigates masculinity through the lens of body building. His photographic project started in 2015 and includes over 20,000 images. It has since grown to include printmaking, sculpture, installation, video, and book making.The title is a tongue in cheek reference to the idea that men should be stoic and strong resisting any and all external help. The men pictured are all seen as ordered pairs (not alone) except for Selleck whose singular image begins and closes the book. Selleck often displays his images for exhibition in sizes that range from 60 x 40 inches to 20 x 13 inches.
