“This zine is a long form essay that documents the ‘femme fatale’ archetype; the start as a moralistic guideline to adhere to (lest you fall into eternal damnation) in folklore and religion alike, the shift to a shock and awe murky mix of respect, idolatry, suspicion, and hate towards women in power, the segue into Hollywood, and where we are now - a strange mythologizing of real women who have enacted harm and whose surrounding drama is entertainment.
