Marissa Munley (she/her) is a multidisciplinary artist from Cloquet, MN who specializes in linocut print-making and digital illustration. She is passionate about exploring the intersection between math, science, and art. Graduating with a B.S. in mathematics from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, she uses math to inform the compositions, shapes, and forms in her art. She is inspired by nature and our place in it, holding firmly the beauty and whimsy in the everyday. Through her work as a student event planner, managing a makerspace at her office, and volunteering with her local neighborhood organization, she is committed to bringing art to the community. She currently resides in Minneapolis with her cat Finn, continuously on her journey to put art into the world.
