Wen-Li Chen (she/they) is a Pacific Islander and Indigenous artist/designer who relocated from Taiwan to Minnesota in 2015. She received her M.Des in photography from the Glasgow School of Art. Wen-Li is moved to encounter and present dwelling and inheritance through oblique poetics, vulnerable histories, enduring relationships, and personal experiences. Her artwork often includes books, photo essays, photography, videos, found objects, and installations.
