Oakley Gabriel (they/them) has been creating art for about 10 years that explores the intersections of nature, ecology, trauma, healing, and politics. They are a writer, poet, painter, sculpter, and generally curious creator. Previous projects of theirs include "This Composting Body", a collection of poems centering trauma healing through a lens of nature's own healing and multimedia works that explore transgender bodies and experiences, often with a flair of political resistance.
Eve Gordon (she/they) is a naturalist at heart with a passion for conservation and scientific education through nature-based zines. Their topics of interest include ornithology, entomology, ecology, and human ecology. Through their work, they strive to inspire and educate others in scientific exploration. Eve Gordon completed their undergraduate studies at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio while studying under Peggy Macnamara at the Field Museum. They went on to complete a Natural Science Illustration Certificate at Rhode Island School of Design.
