Britten Kuckelman (she/her) is an artist from Wichita, Kansas. She is a collector of books that are worn, well-loved by previous owners with tattered edges, broken bindings, and penned signatures scrawled on the inside cover. She loves hunting through the remnants of personal libraries for books that still have sparks of life in them, hidden potential. Gathering these treasures, she remakes the old into new journals or sketchbooks. She has a particular interest in reusing as much as possible, and scraps from the process make their way into a variety of new creations.
