- Minnesota Center for Book Arts 1011 South Washington Avenue #100 Minneapolis, MN 55415 United States (map)
Saturday, December 19; 1–5pm CT
Learn to make a Flag Book, an innovative and adaptable book structure that uses an accordion spine and attachable "flag" pages.
In this in-person workshop, make two versions of this book—a traditional style and a variation that allows pages of the book to be recombined in exciting ways. Spend time generating content for your book, then finish it with a covered board binding. Participants may want to bring along photos, collage materials, concert tickets, playing cards, lines from a favorite poem, or other small pieces of paper to use as "flags" in their books.
Level: Beginners. All levels are welcome.
Certificate: 4 hours, Category B or D
