Learn to make your own bookcloth using Japanese paper, cotton fabric, and wheat starch paste, in this hands-on, in-person workshop. Use the bookcloth to cover a refillable A6 journal with rounded corners, a recessed label, and stainless steel hardware.
Learn to use bindery equipment like the board shear, paper drill, and corner rounders. Consult the project overview for information about selecting cloth and paper, and formatting a label.
Level: Beginner. All skill levels are welcome.
