Hide & Seek: Transforming Paper Toys

Saturday, June 13; 12–4pm CT

Transform images before your very eyes! In this in-person workshop, make assorted paper toys that use transparencies and sliding panels to hide and reveal content.

Make a paper flashlight to find hidden objects and a coloring book that colors itself! These fun mechanisms can be incorporated into book structures, interactive greeting cards, or party favors. Participants can design their own content or use pre-designed models.

Level: Beginner. All skill levels are welcome. 
Certificate: 2 hours, Category B or D

$60 | $30 Scholarship | $90 Pay-It-Forward

$40 materials fee

Scholarships are available for individuals facing adversity as it relates to identity, income/wealth, and lack of access to arts resources. The Pay-It-Forward rate (tuition, plus 50%) supports MCBA’s efforts to make scholarships available. We leave it to you to choose the rate that is meaningful to you based on your income, wealth, and privilege status. MCBA members receive a 10% discount on tuition.
