In this in-person workshop, learn the full linocut printmaking process from start to finish: transferring an image, carving safely and effectively, and printing by hand.
We’ll explore a variety of tools, carving techniques, and practical tricks that help demystify the process and make linocut accessible to all skill levels. Whether you come with a drawing, a photo, or use provided imagery, you’ll leave with a finished, one-of-a-kind print and the confidence to keep printing on your own.
This workshop focuses on how to see an image like a printmaker—understanding positive and negative space, mark-making, and how small carving choices affect the final print. By the end of the workshop, participants will have a strong foundation they can take home, back to their own studio, or into a shared printshop setting.
