Intuition Lab: Ekphrastic Collage

Tuesday, October 13; 7–9pm CT

In this generative virtual workshop, reach beyond text and image as illustration and description and learn how to respond to poetry or other written art with intuitive collage making.

Explore a hands-on, guided ekphrasis (writing about art) experiment where we aim to lower the stakes, trust our instincts, and embrace both chance and choice in our collage practice. Come away with some new ideas and tips for your working collage practice, and some intuitive collages inspired by work that moves you.

Level: Beginner. All skill levels are welcome, including complete beginners. All tools and jargon will be explained.
Certificate: 2 hours, Category B

Pricing

$45 | $23 Scholarship | $68 Pay-It-Forward

Scholarships are available for individuals facing adversity as it relates to identity, income/wealth, and lack of access to arts resources.
